She
continued with the prayer band, going from house
to house while attending The Deliverance Evangelistic
Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania under the leadership
of the late Pastor Thea Jones.
In 1959 Elois Bellamy visited The Deliverance Evangelistic
Center in Newark, New Jersey, where the late Apostle
Auturo Skinner was the pastor. She was so impressed
by the move of God that she moved her membership. In
1962 God called her to the ministry to preach and teach
the gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Elois Bellamy was
officially ordained in 1967 by the late Apostle Auturo
Skinner and began pastoring her first church on Memorial
Parkway in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Unfortunately,
the church on Memorial Parkway was destroyed by fire,
which forced Pastor Bellamy and congregation to move
the church to their second location on Hiram Street
in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
When
Pastor Bellamy and her congregation moved to Hiram Street
word began to spread about the church and the Great
move of God that was taking place. The church then moved
to French Street in New Brunswick where the membership
greatly increased. As a result the church grew so large
that Pastor Bellamy and her expanding congregation purchased
the present location Deliverance Prayer Revival Tabernacle,
306 Somerset Street New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Pastor
Elois Bellamy attended the Deliverance Bible Institute
in Newark, New Jersey and is also internationally known
for her charismatic healing and deliverance ministry.
She has conducted crusades overseas and continues to
conduct tent crusades and revivals with demonstration
and power of the Holy Ghost.
Her
greatest joy is when lives are transformed from the
bondage of sin and delivered by the power of God.
